About Cohen 1939 Guide

Cohen 1939 Guide is an unofficial walkthrough site for Cohen 1939, the one-hit-kill gangster shooter from Cube of Cube and 2P Games. It is written for players stuck on a boss, a forced stealth section or a buggy door, and for anyone chasing S ranks and the hidden achievements. It has no link to the developer or publisher.

Rowan Ashcombe keeps these pages. Facts come from the Steam store and stats pages, the Steam discussion board, launch-week player reviews in several languages and recorded playthroughs. Where players disagree about a boss or a bug, both reports are given with the source instead of picking one.

How we check things

Mechanics and boss tactics are only written up when at least two independent player reports agree, usually Steam reviews, Steam forum threads and recorded playthroughs. Names, prices, achievement rates and specs are copied from the Steam store and Steam stats pages on the date shown.

Keeping it current

Steam news for the game is checked for patches every few days during launch month. When a patch lands, the bug list and boss pages are re-read against the notes first, because those are the pages a patch is most likely to break.

What you won't find here

No invented chapter maps or made-up weapon stats. If the studio has not published a number and players have not measured it, the page says it is unknown instead of guessing.
